We had a great speaker, Mario Akopse, during Love Summit to share with us about having work life effectiveness . She mentioned that “you cannot be successful without the support of your spouse.”
This support comes in many forms. Many of us work outside the home so when it comes to maintaining the home, the kids, and each other some things fail to prosper because of lack of time.
14 Day Marriage Challenge: Sharing is Caring
Why Share?
When we get married we become partners in all things. There is a myth in marriage that some tasks are gender related. Well, I say that is not true. There are some tasks that a certain gender are better at but it does not mean the other gender cannot do them.
When it comes to our marriage, we must work together to make sure that all the wheels are turning.
How can you help your spouse?
1. Cook dinner one night
2. Take over the morning routine with the kids so your spouse can sleep in or just relax.
3. Give your spouse a kid free day
4. Help with the household chores
5. Make sure your spouse car is filled with gas
Today’s challenge:
Do something that your spouse normally do today. Surprise them with a dinner cooked, an evening without the kids, or anything that will give them a chance to relax.
What are some ways you can support your spouse?
