We bought new hiking boots this week and are going to try them out on a modest hike on Monday! Our youngest child just went off to college, so we decided that we are going to pursue an “active lifestyle” now that we don’t have school activities and children’s sports to take up all of our free time. Our sons are making fun of us (“Oh, you need this for your ‘active lifestyle!’) but we just ignore them and do what we want!
