College Football Hall Of Fame is another recent addition to the fabric of Atlanta and is a must see attraction. This is probably the best $20 you will spend on a sport! This museum is amazing and does not miss a beat. Representing 768 college teams nothing goes without acknowledgement in this hall of fame and you need about 3 hours to really take it all in. The HBCU football history documented is pretty cool as well and the history of tailgating is pretty impressive.

The Georgia Aquarium is known as the most magical aquarium offering more than 60 exhibits. The aquarium is perfect for a relaxed afternoon escaping to the underwater world. Couples (and families) will explore and gain an appreciation for the world’s diverse and intriguing aquatic biodiversity.

The Civil Right Museum is one of the latest additions to Atlanta documenting every detail of Civil Rights era and was the select location as the birth city of Martin Luther King Jr. This museum is very interactive and documents every moment of Civil Rights from the bombing of four little girls in Alabama to shots ringing out in the killing of Dr. King to the refusal of service at Woolworth’s in Greensboro NC and beyond. This can be a very emotional real experience.Civil and Human Rights Museum

The Best Way to Travel Around Atlanta
If you have never been to Atlanta, let me just warn you that the traffic is horrendous. The people in Atlanta are always on the go. No matter what time of day you are traveling the streets of Atlanta, you will encounter traffic.
You could definitely,
- Rent a car and drive around the city. This is a great way to learn the city and see some hidden treasures.
- Uber and Lyft are viable options.
But the best way to get around Atlanta is to use their public transportation, MARTA. MARTA operates both bus and rail lines throughout the city and into nearby suburbs. You, honestly, can get anywhere in the city of Atlanta via Marta.
