Now, you guys know us pretty well by now. We love date nights & we love trying new things for, during and on our date nights.
Recently, I received an email about a $7,500 date night. I must say it piqued my interest. What could a couple be doing to have a $7,500 date night? I wondered.
Well, come to find out it’s a luxury hotel stay at Hilton Bentley Hotel in South Beach. Well, there you go: Bently + South Beach could definitely easily cost you $7,500.
The hubby suggested we travel to Miami for New Years this year, so I told him I have the perfect place on South Beach, where the ocean meets the bay.
Oh, I fixed it up and piqued his interest by telling him that it’s just a short walk from top restaurants and famous clubs.
I told him all about the hotel but that I would love if we could stay in the 2-story, 3,000 square foot penthouse suite at the Hilton Bentley Hotel.
He stopped dead in his tracks and turned around and looked me dead in my eyes and said, “Babe, how much is this suite per night?”
I giggled a little & told him not much. And the cost shouldn’t be a factor. I deserve it & most importantly he deserves it. I said, “Hun, you work hard all year and your only wish is to be in Miami for New Years. Well, I’m suggesting South Beach & that we stay at Hilton Bentley Hotel.”
Well, after all, that talking I did, he only wanted to know how much.
I told him $7,500 per night. I sat back and waited for him to explode. He didn’t.
He said, “Well put that on your vision board for next year.”
BAM!

I was totally shocked for two reasons, (1) he didn’t say an automatic no, and (2) he is paying attention to my vision boards.
Oh, this hotel is amazing. We can’t afford to stay there at this moment but, as a couple, we love to dream and fantasize about the big things.
We never say never because we serve a God that can make the impossible possible.
So, we may not stay in this hotel for New Years 2016 but it will happen. We will add our names to the Hilton Bentley guest list. We will sign it, Kings, One Date One City!
