Tone & pitch (T&P)-
Communication is very important in marriage but T&P is equally important.
Your T&P can diffuse or infuse a situation especially when talking about a difficult situation. A high pitch & a demeaning tone will only cause your spouse to go on the defensive & the convo will take an ugly turn which will result in nothing being accomplished but hurt feelings & a bruised marriage!!
Stay mindful of your T&P. If you feel either of them raise-STOP talking, REMOVE yourself from the room,PRAY!
Your marriage means more to you than having a screaming match with your spouse.

This is sooooo true! When I feel myself getting “hot”, I step out of the room and get myself together. NOTHING is accomplished by screaming!
