It’s Monday! Monday is normally the longest day of the week. I’m already thinking about going to bed. Why you may ask? Thanks for asking.
Bedtime is the best time in my day. This is the time when it’s just me and the hubby. I use this time reconnect with the
husband. We use this time as quality time.
I know many of us are so ready for bed that we just crash. We get in the bed and our head is covered so high that our spouse has to really look and make sure we are there.
Instead of just crashing, try unwinding with your spouse.
5 Bedtime Routines that will change the way you look at going to bed:
- Shower together
- Lay in the bed and air dry (yeah, that could start something else but hey it will definitely relax you) while talking to your spouse
- Try just holding hands while watching TV
- Cuddle and Spoon
- Laugh and update each other on your day
It’s really easy to just go to bed and fall asleep on your side the bed, but then you miss out on the opportunity to connect with your spouse and have some bonding time. Your bedroom should be the most relaxing location in your house plus it’s where the fun stuff happens between husband and wife.
Hey what will it hurt if you gave a night or two to just connect with your spouse? Who knows, that night could be the best sleep you get!
What are some ways you could use bedtime as a way to connect and spend quality time with your spouse? Share…

Heather,
I must commend you guys. I sleep with the TV on so that would take me some getting use to not having a TV in the room.

Well you have to have the same sleep patterns for that to happen regularly…..as I have major trouble sleeping due to pain etc I don’t go to bed to a whole lot later so that being tired I will actually sleep through the pain….cant fit more than one person in our shower as its tiny and besides if 2 stood in that same spot it would probably fall through the floor boards…..Oh I wish
