One of the biggest reasons couples don’t date often or NEVER is the lack of finding a babysitter that is reliable and trustworthy. Leaving your kids with anyone is not an option. Securing a babysitter that you can trust and be able to relax to on a date with your spouse can be a challenge.

Don’t worry we all have been there and bought a shirt to commemorate that time in our life but you don’t have to feel like you can never go on a date with your spouse because of no babysitter. Here are a few suggestions on finding a reliable babysitter.
How to find a babysitter:
1. Ask for recommendations: Ask other couples who they are using as a babysitter.
2. Family and Friends: Ask a trusted family member or friend to watch your kids for a couple of hours. Don’t abuse their friendship by “overusing” them to watch the kids for frivolous reasons.
3. Online babysitting services: Invest in an online babysitting service that is Better Business Bureau certified. These companies have vested the babysitters that work for them. They sitters are trained, insured and bonded. Find Your Perfect Babysitter Today at Care.com! They actually have babysitters just for couples so you can go on a date with your spouse.
4. Daycare Centers: Find a local daycare center that offer drop in hours. This will give you the opportunity to use them whenever you need to without having to pay a weekly rate.
Don’t let the need for a babysitter keep you from dating your spouse. If push come to shove, you can always create a group of moms that can support each other and swap kids for date night.
Make it happen! Date your spouse….
