Playing board games are part of my family DNA. When the American Bible Challenge game show aired on GSN, we would sit around the TV and watch it and actually compete against each other. There is something special about a family that will team up to learn more about God and His word.
So when the American Bible Challenge was made into a board game, we had to add it to our collection.
The American Bible Challenge board game is not just a game to test your knowledge of the Bible but it is a good way for family fun plus also learn together.
How to host a family game night
- Schedule a date that is convenient for the family
- Choose a game that is age appropriate for everyone
- Have snacks but make sure the snacks are those that will still allow everyone to participate in the game.
- HAVE FUN!
American Bible Challenge Board Game
This game is a family game and perfect for everyone age 13 and up. The game comes with a board, game pieces, and question cards. The object is the be the first person to cover the board with your game piece. This is only accomplished when you answer a question correctly.
The questions derive from all 66 books of the Bible.
The funny thing about this game (and it should be in fun) is you really get to test your understanding and retention of what you read in the Bible. One thing I realize is my retention is not all that good but my love for God and the love and fun I had with my family, we will definitely play this game again!
Since, we had so many family members over, we didn’t use the board per se. Instead we split off into teams and answered the questions like they do on the actual game show on TV.
When I tell you hilarious because for one, each team had at least one pastor on their team. So can you just imagine the fun we had!
Have you watched or played the American Bible Challenge? I encourage you to purchase this game for your next family game night.
