I was super stoked when I received an email from E-Meals about their new weekly desserts email and to find out they have recipes for sweets that are perfect to share with your SWEETie! Ohhhhh yeah! So you know I was like: DATE NIGHT PERFECT. lol
There are days you may not have time to cook a full meal or even go out somewhere for a date, but we all know how relaxing & loving it is to share a dessert with our spouse while we are talking, watching a good movie. or just laying in the bed next to each other.
So when I saw the Buttery Toasted Vanilla Clusters, I was like “Oh we having these next week as we unwind from spending Christmas with the family.” Simple recipe & its perfect for TWO.
- 3 oz package ramen noodles
- ¾cup coarsely chopped pecans
- ½ cup sliced almonds
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 11 or 12 oz bag white chocolate chips
- Coarsely crush ramen noodles before opening package.
- Open package; discard flavor packet.
- Saute crushed noodles, pecans and almonds in butter in a large skillet over medium heat until toasted.
- Pour noodle mixture into a large bowl to cool.
- Melt white chocolate chips according to package directions; pour over noodle mixture in bowl, tossing gently to coat.
- Drop candy mixture by rounded tablespoonfuls onto wax paper.
- Let stand until firm, about 1 hour; store in airtight container at room temperature. Makes 3 dozen
