Dating Your Spouse in Honolulu

Every spare inch of this earth can be turned into something romantic as long as you’re with the one you love. Of course some spaces make it easier than others and this is why Hawaii is one of the top destinations for honeymoons and romantic getaways. Between the beaches (both public and hidden), dimly lit restaurants and bars, and waterfalls… the air breads peace and provides ample space for long walks and deep conversation be it with words or simple loving glances. Hawaii is the perfect backdrop for an epic date night.

When planning, book your stay at the Embassy Suites Waikiki. Not only is the all-suite hotel just steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, it provide large rooms that any couple of young family could appreciate. In addition to the space, each guest is provided with a full complimentary breakfast every morning. In addition they have a full gym, office space in the room and on the property. As the day draws to an end guest can attend the Manager’s cocktail reception while watching the magnificent sunset by the poolside.

Spending time on the beach is mandatory during your time in Hawaii. Depending on who you ask some say Waikiki is crowded. I actually prefer this beach for its unique people watching factor. I suggest when you visit here that you pay for the chair rentals, beach umbrella, and just lay there and rest or watch the endless flow of entertainment. On Friday nights both couples and family convenience together to watch the fireworks just after sunset. If people watching isn’t your thing, try Lani Kai or Sandy’s beach.

In regards to food, try one of the many Luau’s on the island such as Paradise Cove, Germaine’s, or the Polynesian Cultural Center located near the north shore. The Pig & the Lady located downtown Honolulu is another good choice and a YELP favorite. I had the pleasure of trying this restaurant two weeks ago and was blown away by my entrée.

Whether you at the beginning of your journey together, or knee deep in- Honolulu is the perfect location for a lost weekend full of date nights with your spouse.
