San Antonio, TX ohhh my! We are continuing our pledge to our #OneDateOneCity commitment. One of the best ways to find out more about your spouse is not only to talk but to travel and travel regularly. We normally try the food, go shopping and maybe check out the nightlife in the cities we visit. Well San Antonio was full of the norms we would visit but it was also full of history, beautiful buildings and scenery and gave us a glimpse into a totally different culture than what we have here in Memphis.
We stayed downtown at the Westin Riverwalk. The hotel was beautiful and centrally located. We didn’t rent a car. We walked to most places or utilized Uber for longer travel around the city.
We took a stroll from the hotel and headed toward the Alamo. We crossed over Commerce Street Bridge; which is a historical point in San Antonio.
We visited Market Square. We had a really good time at Historic Market Square. Seeing the locals and their handcrafted wares, good music, and tasty food was the order of the day.
You cannot visit San Antonio and don’t take a troll and a river boat ride down River Walk.
The Riverwalk has a restaurants, shopping, music, and beautiful scenery. This is definitely an area you and your boo could have a great time.
San Antonio did not disappoint us. We will definitely go back to visit again and maybe stay longer.
Have you and your spouse (and family) been to San Antonio? What was your favorite activity?
